Lessons

Snowboarders, telemarkers, alpine or cross-country skiers can learn new skills or refine the skills they already have in the 1 1/2 hour group lessons or with private instruction. Smugglers’ also offers a 2 1/2 hour MAX5 session and a 1 1/2 hour group session. Let them help you find your definition of fun and make the most out of your time on the slopes.

The award-winning Snow Sports University also has full day programs for 3-15 year olds, 1 ½ hour programs that start later in the day for 16-17 yr olds.  SSU also offers 1 1/2 hour group lessons or 2 1/2 hour lessons for ages 6-17, as well as private instruction for all ages.
2010/2011 rates
- Adult group – morning $65, afternoon $45 for a 1 1/2 hour lesson.
- Adult private – 8:00 am, 3:00 pm $75, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm $95 per hour
- Child (6-10 yrs), Youth (11-15) group – 1:00-2:30 $45, 10:00-11:30 $65 for a 1 1/2 hour lesson

Rental Equipment

3 Mountain Equipment, in the Smugglers Village, carries a full line of brand name ski & snowboard boots, custom boot fitting and ski & snowboard accessories. You can also test drive the latest and greatest skis & snowboards.

Adult performance package – $47 with helmet, $39 without
Adults ski or snowboard only – $26
Youth packages (17 and under) – $37 with helmet, $30 without
Youth ski or snowboard only – $25
½ day and multi-day rates are also available.  You can also rent skis, boards, snowboards, helmets, boots, poles, jackets and pants individually.

Accommodations -

You’ll be lodged in one of Smugglers’ Notch’s convenient, cozy, family-style, condominium homes, all within an easy walk or on-demand Resort Shuttle ride to all Village amenities, each with fully equipped kitchen facilities. All have cable TV, telephones, internet access, linens, cookware, dishware, glassware, utensils and in-home or in-building access to laundry facilities. Daily maid service is available at a nominal fee.

Driving Directions

– From Interstate I-89 heading North, take Exit 15 (Winooski) onto Route 15E through Essex Junction to Jeffersonville. Take Route 108 S to Smugglers’ located on the left about 5 miles from Jeffersonville.

– From Interstate I-89 heading South, take Exit 19 (2nd exit for St. Albans) onto Rte. 104 S. Follow 104 S through Fairfax to Cambridge. In Cambridge, pick up Rte. 15 E to Jeffersonville. In Jeffersonville take Rte. 108 S to the Resort (about 5 miles).
